Wednesday 10th July 2018

Dear Parents and Carers,

We are now just a few days from the end of term. There are many events and activities out of the normal routine that are occurring, therefore we wanted to ensure you are informed about these, so that you and the children have the correct information.

THURSDAY 12 JULY: Play rehearsals for actors and all members of Y6 as the last few lines are learnt and songs practised. Parent/ teacher Conferences from 3.30-7.45pm. Y6 Results KS2 will be given out at this meeting.

FRIDAY 13 JULY: Eco- fashion show in the morning featuring pupils’ work and designs, followed by Production rehearsals and Sports Day Trials pm, assuming the play rehearsals are going to schedule. Please keep encouraging your child to keep practising their lines.

MONDAY 16 JULY: Take One Picture Workshop Completion. As you know the children have been producing a range of art work based on the painting that was viewed at the National Gallery, a few weeks ago. This work needs to be completed on Monday in order that a display can be put together by Mr. Saunders. No Workshops this afternoon- but provided Art work is completed, a further Sports Day practice is planned for this afternoon.

TUESDAY 17 JULY: Production technical & Dress Rehearsal to the whole school and Infants’ School 11.15- 12.15pm. There is likely to be another rehearsal in the afternoon on Tuesday based on the areas that need improving from the Dress Rehearsal.

WEDNESDAY 18 JULY:  Leavers’ Church Service in the morning at The Minster. Y6 pupils to lead the service. PM- Sports Day practice. First Production Evening Performance 7-8pm.

THURSDAY 19 JULY: Sports Day- children to represent their Houses with T- shirt of appropriate colour to be worn. Evening at 7-8pm Second Production Performance.

FRIDAY 20 JULY: 9am Celebration Assembly- Values & other awards. Y6 Leavers’ Party pm

We thank you for your ongoing support and suggest if you have any questions about the schedule for the week to make contact with your child’s class teacher.
